Planning a mini-split for a Tucson casita or addition
Start with how you intend to use the space, not which unit to buy. A casita used for occasional guests presents a different planning question from an addition that will become someone's bedroom. Tell us whether the project is for occasional use, daily work or full-time living, and whether that use may change.
Bring a floor plan or a simple sketch showing the rooms, doors and intended furniture locations. Mark where people will sleep or sit, and identify every area you expect to keep comfortable.
