The Repair & Service Warranty

Repair coverage, in writing.

Repairs and service calls carry a written 1-year materials-and-labor warranty as standard. Qualifying Home Wellness Club repairs get 5 years on parts and 2 years on labor with a continuously active membership. The exclusions are on this page, not in fine print.

Two different promises, kept separate on purpose

We back our work two ways, and they are not the same thing.

Repairs and service carry a warranty. If a part we supplied fails, or the work we did doesn't hold, we cover the failed part and the labor to replace it, each for its own term below. That is defect coverage: it protects you against the repair itself going wrong.

Qualifying installations can carry a separate guarantee. When a system is installed to our own spec and design and meets the eligibility on the guarantee page, it can carry the written 1-Year Money-Back Guarantee, which is a satisfaction promise, not this warranty. Installation equipment and labor warranties are separate too, and are spelled out on your proposal.

Everything below is the repair and service warranty. Install coverage lives on your proposal and the guarantee page.

What's covered, by type of work

Qualifying warranty terms are printed on the line items of your invoice. This table is the summary; the invoice line governs.

The Home Wellness Club extension

Members of the Home Wellness Club get a longer warranty on qualifying repairs: 5 years on parts and 2 years on labor, instead of the standard 1 year on both.

Two conditions:

  • The extended coverage applies while your membership stays continuously active. If the membership lapses, coverage on those repairs goes back to the standard 1 year.
  • It applies to qualifying repair parts and the labor to install them, and those items are marked on your invoice. It does not apply to routine maintenance or cleaning visits.

What isn't covered, and why

Most of what we do is warrantied. The exceptions are the ones we can't cover, and we'd rather say so up front.

  • Cleanings and maintenance outcomes. If we clean your evaporator coil and the system then runs a month without a filter, the coil will be dirty again. That isn't a defect in our work, so cleanings, filter changes, and tune-up results aren't warrantied.
  • Foreign objects in drain lines. Hydro jetting is covered for 6 months, excluding foreign objects. A vape down the drain is the classic example.
  • Customer-supplied parts. A faucet, thermostat, or sink you buy yourself and we install has no parts or labor warranty, except when our workmanship caused the failure. That's the risk you take with your own part.
  • Repairs someone else did. We warranty our own repairs, not work performed by others.

If you're not sure whether something is covered, ask before the work starts. The answer is on the invoice line.

Our process

How to use the warranty

01

Call us

Call (520) 655-8551 and tell us what's going on. Have your invoice date handy if you can.

02

We come back out

A technician checks the repair we did. If the part we supplied failed or our work didn't hold, we cover the part and the labor to replace it, each for the term that applies.

03

We put the outcome in writing

What we find and what we do goes on a written invoice, the same as the original job. If it turns out to be a new problem unrelated to our repair, we say so plainly and put a price in writing before any work starts.

Warranty questions

Straight answers, no runaround. If yours isn't here, call us.

No. The repair and service warranty is defect coverage: if a part we supplied fails or our work doesn't hold, we cover the part and the labor to replace it, each for its own term. The 1-Year Money-Back Guarantee is a satisfaction promise on qualifying system installations. They are separate, and each one is written down.

It's printed on the invoice. Each qualifying line item carries its warranty term, so coverage is read off the line.

Yes, the warranty transfers. Give the new owner your invoice; the coverage is printed on the qualifying line items. If Home Wellness Club extended terms are involved, call us and we'll confirm what applies to the new owner.

Coverage on qualifying repairs done while you were a member goes back to the standard 1 year on parts and labor. Keep the membership active and the 5-year parts, 2-year labor terms stay in force.

It's on the invoice

Repair and service work is warrantied in writing. The exceptions are listed on this page, and Club extended coverage applies to qualifying line items only. Call and we'll tell you what applies before the work starts.
