What we did

Three visits, start to finish

Measure the space.

The homeowner booked online for a quote. We measured the garage and the outside wall on a pre-measure visit before installation day.

Install the system.

We installed a 2-ton, 18 SEER ductless heat pump for a single zone: one wall-mounted head in the garage and the outdoor unit on a new pad, with a copper line set in a line-set cover, a data wire and a surge protector. It cools in summer and heats in winter.

Check it the next day.

A separate quality-control visit the day after the install completed the full 12-item checklist. The system carries the manufacturer's limited 10-year parts, compressor and labor warranty, and the maintenance plan that keeps it valid came with the price.
