AC and furnace replacement in Oro Valley

New AC. New furnace. Measured first, checked twice.

An Oro Valley homeowner replaced the air conditioner and the gas furnace together. We measured the day before, installed both in one day, added the drain protection the attic needed, and came back three days later to check the work.

What we did

Three visits, all documented

01

Measure the day before.

A pre-measure visit came first, so the equipment, the duct connections and the attic work were planned before the install crew showed up.

02

Replace both systems in one day.

Out came the old outdoor unit and furnace. In went a 3.5-ton air conditioner with a matching coil and an 80,000 BTU two-stage gas furnace. We added a new return duct, new duct transitions, a secondary float switch on the condensate line, an emergency drain pan under the attic equipment, a fused disconnect, a surge protector for the compressor and a new thermostat.

03

Start it up, then check it again.

We started the system, verified the refrigerant level and adjusted the airflow. Three days later a separate quality-control visit went over the job again. The 10-year parts warranty is registered, and a maintenance plan came with the system.

AC and furnace replacement questions

Straight answers, no runaround. If yours isn't here, call us.

We don't publish one customer's price. For reference, a new AC installation starts around $10,500 for a 2- or 3-ton system, and a furnace-only replacement runs around $5,000. When both are replaced together, you get one written price after a free in-home visit. See AC replacement and furnace replacement.

Both systems went in on one day. The pre-measure visit was August 31, the install was September 1, and a separate quality-control visit followed on September 4.

The 10-year parts warranty is registered, and a maintenance plan came with the system. Qualifying residential, owner-occupied installations are also backed by our written 1-year money-back guarantee.
